The iHeir Industrial Microbiology Testing Center is the company’s core R&D and testing facility in the fields of anti-mold and antibacterial protection. It is also a major national base for microbial hazard control of materials and products, as well as the development of new technologies and products in the anti-mold and antibacterial industry.
With over 25 years of experience in microbiological research, the Testing Center has taken a leading role in the formulation of national industry standards for antimicrobial and anti-mold solutions. It has received special funding from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education for industry-academia-research collaboration. The Center is also a collaborative laboratory of the Guangzhou Institute of Microbiology, has participated in a number of major scientific research projects, and has won multiple national patents.
The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of advanced instruments, including optical microscopes, stereo microscopes, ultra-clean workbenches, cyclotron oscillators, bacterial incubators, mold incubators, constant temperature and humidity incubators, biosafety cabinets, gas chromatographs, liquid chromatographs, table centrifuges, pH meters, and electronic balances. These facilities provide a solid foundation for accurate testing and innovative R&D.

The Testing Center not only supports internal product development but also helps customers evaluate material mold risks, analyze antibacterial effectiveness, identify microorganisms, and develop customized protection strategies. Backed by this strong technical foundation, iHeir is able to provide safe, environmentally friendly, and highly effective microbial control solutions to more than 1,000 customers and over 1,000 products worldwide.
