iHeir-IPI Inorganic Plastic Antimicrobial Agent
Product Overview
iHeir-IPI is a novel inorganic antibacterial agent centered on silver ion compounds, combining high safety, broad-spectrum antibacterial efficacy, and excellent thermal stability. Specifically designed for plastics, rubber, fibers, coatings, and similar materials, it effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold on product surfaces, preventing degradation, discoloration, embrittlement, and disease transmission caused by microbial attack. iHeir-IPI meets the most stringent environmental regulations of Europe, the USA, and Japan, is suitable for food contact, does not discolor, is heat-resistant, and wash-resistant, making it particularly suitable for light-colored or transparent plastic products.
Product Features
-
Broad-Spectrum & Long-Lasting: Excellent killing and inhibitory effects against bacteria (E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, etc.) and fungi (A. niger, C. albicans, etc.). Antibacterial rate ≥ 99.99%.
-
High Temperature Resistance: Withstands processing temperatures of 300°C – 320°C, suitable for high-temperature injection molding, extrusion, and other processes, with minimal discoloration.
-
Non-Leaching & Durable: The antibacterial components do not migrate or leach, are resistant to acids, alkalis, and washing. Bacteria are less likely to develop resistance.
-
Small Particle Size & Uniform Dispersion: Average particle size of only 1–2 μm, large specific surface area. After surface treatment, it has good compatibility with various resins, without affecting material processing properties or appearance.
-
Safe & Non-Toxic: Non-irritating to human skin, classified as safe and non-toxic. Rat acute oral LD50 > 2560 mg/kg.
-
Environmentally Stable: Stable under intense UV radiation and acid rain conditions, suitable for outdoor products.
