iHeir-PSE is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent based on organic biguanide compounds, specifically designed for plastics, rubber, foamed products, and other materials. This product slowly releases positive charges, disrupting bacterial cell structures through electrostatic adsorption while inhibiting cellular enzyme activity, thereby efficiently killing bacteria and providing long-lasting surface antimicrobial protection. It offers excellent anti-discoloration properties, dispersibility, and thermal stability. Safe and environmentally friendly, it complies with EU regulations and is suitable for food contact materials.

Mechanism of Action

Bacterial surfaces typically carry a negative charge. The positive charges released by iHeir-PSE are adsorbed onto the bacterial surface, disrupting their electrolyte balance, leading to cell wall damage and death. Simultaneously, the antimicrobial ions enter the bacteria, react with cellular enzymes, and inhibit enzyme activity, blocking bacterial reproduction and regeneration, thus achieving highly efficient, broad-spectrum bactericidal effects.
