iHeir-GGIPL Silicone Antibacterial Paste
Product Overview
iHeir-GGIPL is a high-performance inorganic antibacterial paste centered on silver ion compounds, specifically designed for silicone rubber products. This product offers outstanding advantages including broad-spectrum efficacy, long-lasting action, high temperature resistance, no discoloration, safety, and non-toxicity. It effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold on silicone surfaces, preventing aging, discoloration, and embrittlement of products caused by microbial attack. GGIPL is suitable for food contact, wash-resistant, and ideal for light-colored and transparent silicone products, meeting the strictest environmental regulations of Europe, the US, and Japan.
Product Features
-
Broad-spectrum & long-lasting: Excellent killing and inhibiting effects against bacteria such as E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, as well as fungi including A. niger and C. albicans, with an antibacterial rate ≥ 99.99%.
-
High temperature resistance: Withstands processing temperatures of 300°C~320°C, suitable for high-temperature vulcanization molding processes, with minimal discoloration.
-
Non-leaching, good durability: Antibacterial components do not migrate or leach out, are resistant to acids, alkalis, and washing, and bacteria are less likely to develop resistance.
-
Paste form, uniform dispersion: White paste with good compatibility with silicone, easy to disperse during the compounding process, without affecting product appearance or performance.
-
Safe and non-toxic: Non-irritating to human skin, classified as safe and non-toxic. Rat acute oral LD50 > 2560 mg/kg.
-
Environmentally stable: Remains stable under strong UV and acid rain conditions, suitable for outdoor products.
