iHeir-M300 Odorless Solvent-based Water Repellent
Product Overview
iHeir-M300 is a solvent-based fluoropolymer water and oil repellent, widely used for surface treatment of various substrates such as textiles, leather, synthetic leather, paper, wood, and stone. After treatment with iHeir-M300, the substrate achieves excellent water repellency, water resistance, oil repellency, and dust resistance, while maintaining its original appearance, breathability, and touch, without altering the material’s natural characteristics.
Product Features
-
High-Efficiency Protection: Imparts excellent water repellency, oil repellency, and dust resistance to the substrate surface; liquid stains are less likely to adhere or penetrate.
-
Preserves Original Properties: The original appearance, hand feel, and breathability of the substrate are not affected after treatment.
-
Wide Range of Applications: Suitable for textiles, natural leather, synthetic leather, paper, wood, stone, etc.
-
Room Temperature Application: Dries at room temperature after coating, easy to operate.

Application Method
1. Pre-use Confirmation and Dilution
-
iHeir-M300 may solidify or settle at temperatures below 15°C, which is normal. Warm it in a warm water bath and mix thoroughly until the liquid returns to a uniform, transparent state.
-
Dilute at a ratio of iHeir-M300 : Solvent = 1 : 4. Petroleum-based solvents (e.g., n-decane, boiling point 150–200°C) are recommended. Recommended solvent: EXXOL D40.
2. Coating Application
-
Ensure the substrate is thoroughly dry.
-
Apply the diluted treatment solution evenly onto the substrate surface at approximately 200 g/m².
-
Apply at room temperature. Depending on the substrate, gently wipe the surface about 10 minutes after application if necessary.
3. Drying
-
Allow to dry thoroughly at room temperature for 24 hours.
Precautions
-
Low temperatures (below 15°C) may cause coagulation or sedimentation; warming and mixing restores usability.
-
The work area must be well-ventilated (local exhaust is recommended).
-
Wear protective goggles, gloves, and a mask during handling. Avoid splashing into eyes, contact with skin, or inhalation of vapor.
-
This product is flammable. Observe relevant fire safety regulations during use and storage.
-
Keep container tightly closed during storage to prevent solvent evaporation or contamination.
