Product Overview

iHeir-5 is a specialty ink containing antifungal particles smaller than 5 microns, primarily used for producing antibacterial and antifungal paper as well as antimicrobial coatings. It is widely applied for the preservation and mold protection of textiles, paper products, finished leather, and leather goods during storage and transportation. The core advantage of this product lies in its vapor phase sterilization function – the antifungal components are slowly released into enclosed spaces, actively capturing and killing airborne bacteria, mold, and yeasts, providing complete, no-blind-spot protection and effectively preventing product degradation during warehousing and transit.

Usage Instructions

• Dosage reference: Each piece of mold-proof paper or each mold-proof pack should contain 0.1–0.2 grams of iHeir-5 active ingredient.

• Adjustment: Actual dosage depends on the humidity, temperature, space size, and mold protection requirements of the use environment.

• Process tip: Apply or print iHeir-5 as an ink onto paper, dry to produce mold-proof packaging paper or packs, then seal-pack together with the products to be protected.

• Storage conditions: Keep sealed, moisture-proof, protected from light. Shelf life: 1 year.

• Transportation requirements: Not dangerous goods, can be transported by conventional means.

Precautions

1. Use promptly after opening: Once the packaging containing the antifungal ink is opened, use immediately; finished mold-proof paper or packs should be quickly sealed to prevent moisture absorption and loss of efficacy.

2. Compatibility testing: Different dyes and metal materials have varying sensitivity to antifungal agents. Compatibility tests must be conducted before use.

3. Potential effects:

   • Although iHeir-5 is a non-redox type antifungal agent, it may cause fading on some lower-quality dyes.

   • Under humid conditions, it may cause corrosion on lower-quality metal buckles (e.g., certain alloy buckles).

4. Compatibility test method:

   • Place three times the normal dosage of iHeir-5 into the test packaging box.

   • Spray a small amount of water to simulate a humid environment.

   • Use paper to separate the antifungal agent from the protected product (containing dyes or metal parts).

   • Seal the packaging box, leave for several days, and check for fading or corrosion.
