iHeir-TQ Coating Antifungal Agent
Product Overview
iHeir-TQ is a highly efficient, non-toxic, broad-spectrum, environmentally friendly coating antifungal and antibacterial agent, specially designed for latex paints, water-based coatings, polymer emulsions, pigment pastes, printing inks, and other water-containing organic products. The active ingredient of this product is a blend of CMIT/MIT (5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one), which has been approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for in-can preservation and antisap treatment of water-based paints and coatings. Extensive experiments and practical applications have proven that iHeir-TQ has excellent antifungal and preservative functions for copolymers such as acrylics, polyvinyl acetate, and styrene butyl acrylate, and exhibits excellent compatibility with organic/inorganic components in the system.

Core Advantages
-
Broad-spectrum biocidal effect: Inhibits both bacteria (Gram-negative and Gram-positive) and fungi (yeasts and molds), preventing spoilage, odor, and discoloration.
-
Long-lasting protection: The cationic component firmly adheres to the wall surface, providing antimicrobial efficacy for 5–10 years (depending on addition level).
-
Safe & environmentally friendly: Non-toxic at recommended use concentrations, contains no formaldehyde or formaldehyde-releasing substances, environmentally friendly, and rapidly and completely degrades into harmless substances after use.
-
Cost-effective: The cost at effective use concentration is lower than most preservatives on the market, and it is easy to use.
-
Good compatibility: Excellent compatibility with copolymers such as acrylics, polyvinyl acetate, and styrene butyl acrylate, as well as with pigments and fillers, with no side effects on the finished product.
