iHeir-IPL Inorganic Plastic Antibacterial Agent
Product Overview
iHeir-IPL is a new type of inorganic antibacterial agent based on silver ion compounds, combining high safety, broad-spectrum antibacterial efficacy, and excellent thermal stability. This product is specifically designed for plastics, rubber, fibers, coatings, and other materials. It effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold on product surfaces, preventing aging, discoloration, embrittlement, and disease transmission caused by microbial erosion. IPL meets the strictest environmental regulations of Europe, the US, and Japan, is suitable for food contact, does not discolor, withstands high temperatures, and is wash-resistant, making it especially suitable for light-colored or transparent plastic products.
Product Features
-
Broad-spectrum & long-lasting: Excellent killing and inhibiting effects against bacteria (E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, etc.) and fungi (A. niger, C. albicans, etc.), antibacterial rate ≥ 99.99%.
-
High temperature resistance: Withstands processing temperatures of 300°C~320°C, suitable for high-temperature injection molding, extrusion, and other processes, with minimal discoloration.
-
Non-leaching, good durability: Antibacterial components do not migrate or leach out, resistant to acids, alkalis, and washing; bacteria are less likely to develop resistance.
-
Small particle size, uniform dispersion: Average particle size of only 1–2 μm, large specific surface area; after surface treatment, it has good compatibility with various resins, without affecting material processing properties or appearance.
-
Safe and non-toxic: Non-irritating to human skin, classified as safe and non-toxic. Rat acute oral LD50 > 2560 mg/kg.
-
Environmentally stable: Remains stable under strong UV and acid rain conditions, suitable for outdoor products.
